The New
Heathrow Tandoori has beaten off the opposition to win the title of
Hounslow's top curry restaurant.
The Great West
Road restaurant has won the Hounslow Guardian's annual curry award
and owner Mr Rahman received a winners' certificate from the Mayor of
Hounslow Councillor Darshan Grewal.
The
competition ran for 30 days with readers of the Hounslow Guardian and
customers of restaurants in Hounslow voting for their favourite.
Hundreds of entries were received and two readers have won a meal for two.
Councillor
Greewal said: "I am very proud of Mr Rahman for winning this
award as he has been recognised for his outstanding customer service
and quality of food."
Mr Rahman
added: "I am pleased particuarly because it is voted for by the
readers and my customers. I am sure it will help my business."
