Frankie's To Open In Putney

Following the huge success of Frankie's Italian Bar & Grill in Knightsbridge, Chiswick and most recently at The Criterion, Marco Pierre White and Frankie Detorri are opening their fourth Frankie's restaurant. Frankie's Italian Bar and Grill in Putney will officially open on 8th March 2006.

The new Frankie's interiors will continue the mirrored glitter ball theme of the other restaurants in keeping with Marco Pierre White's vision of 'affordable glamour'. The restaurant also houses a private room that seats up to 20 people and doubles as an intimate bar area that can host up to 30 people.

The menu will feature all of the Frankie's classics including Antipasta starters of calamari and zucchini fritti, mussels alla marinara, and mozzarella caprese. Main courses include more than 10 types of delicious pizza and six pasta dishes. From the grill, guests can enjoy veal Milanese, steak, chicken and fish, together with Frankie's infamous burger. There will be new additions to the new Frankie's menu, which will include dishes such as chargrilled calamari, baked sardines with breadcrumbs, lemon and garlic oil and gnocchi with cotechino sausage. All served at a very affordable price.

The wine list comprises of more than 40 Italian and French wines, starting at £13.50.

The restaurant seats 120. The average spend for three courses with house wine is £35.00 per head.
