Brushing Up On His Talents Customers have been flocking to Udit Sarkhels eponymous restaurant in Southfields, South London ever since it opened, to experience his unique cuisine style but they now have another reason to visit Replingham Road - paintings. It seems Chef Sarkhel has hidden talents and is just as capable of producing a masterpiece on canvas as he is with a pan. Until now he has just painted for relaxation but such was the approval when he recently showed two of his works to some customers that he is now considering hanging his most favoured ones around the restaurant. He modestly says that he still cannot imagine anyone wanting to buy one of his works but such is the quality of his efforts that we feel that there is certain to be an appreciative market.
