Taste
Festivals are the inspiration of Brand Events and Channel 4 which
joined forces in September 2006 building on the success of Taste of
London over the past 4 years.
Taste
Festivals showcase 130 of the country's best restaurants and top end
speciality fine food and drink companies from around the world. This
year there will be Taste Festivals in London, Birmingham and Dublin
as before, plus new shows in Edinburgh and Bath.
Taste of
Edinburgh is at The Meadows from 7th to 10th June ; Taste of Dublin
sponsored by Oceanico Developments at Iveagh Gardens from 14th to
17th June ; Taste of London sponsored by British Airways at Regent's
Park from 21st to 24th June ; Taste of Bath at Royal Victoria Gardens
from 28th June to 1st July and Taste of Birmingham sponsored by
Lloyds TSB Car Select at Cannon Hill Park from 5th to 8th July.
The events are
supported by many of Britain's top chefs and Michelin starred
restaurants and Taste of London in Regent's Park in 2006 played host
to 34,106 visitors.
