Patak's
Group Managing Director, David Page is leaving the company at the end
of March, after almost 16 years.
Kirit Pathak,
Chairman and Chief Executive says: "David has been a close
colleague and friend to the Pathak family and he will be missed by
all of us. We wish him every success with his future plans.
"David
was the first non-family director to be appointed to the company,
back in May 1991. His previous management experience coupled with his
food background and his drive and determination have helped us to
progress in our goal to realise our vision for Indian Foods globally,
and the Patak's Group of Companies in particular."
Page indicated
his intention to retire from the business some time ago and over the
last 12 months the management team has restructured and strengthened
in preparation for the succession with Jonathan Bye taking
responsibility for the Patak's Foods and Breads businesses and Sean
Kenny for the Chilled and Frozen businesses. Each will continue in
their new roles and take the business forward under the leadership of
Kirit Pathak.
