Zilli
Works His Italian Magic
In Culinary City Of Brighton

Award winning chef, Aldo Zilli

Award winning celebrity chef Aldo Zilli headed to England's favourite city-by-the-sea to open two exiting new eateries this recently. Zilli brought his authentic Italian cuisine to cosmopolitan Brighton, with the opening of 'Zilli's Café' on 18 March 2008.

The city of Brighton has become a magnet for food lovers in recent years, drawing millions to its restaurants, and has fast-established itself as a premier dining location.

Aldo Zilli's 30-cover deli-style cafe will be one of the highlights of Brighton's funky new destination hotel, 'myhotel' and will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

With fresh, Italian fast food on the menu, customers can watch their homemade pasta and ice-cream being created before tucking in to classic dishes such as aubergine parmigiana and Bolognese, or a superb range of fresh salads and delicious sandwiches.

Following the arrival of Zilli's Café, May 2008 will see the official launch of myhotel and the opening of 'Zilli's' a 120-seat restaurant. The restaurant, will serve a mouthwatering modern Italian menu using locally sourced, sustainable, seasonal and organic produce.

During the warmer months diners will be also able to enjoy the city's summer nights, sitting out on the restaurant's al-fresco seating area.

Zilli's arrival in Brighton sees him join a host of fellow celebrity chiefs including Antonio Carluccio who already owns a restaurant on Jubilee Street, and Jamie Oliver who is opening his first Brighton based restaurant in November.

Brighton is rapidly becoming the hottest destination for food lovers everywhere. Voted the second most culinary city outside of London by the Remy Martin Restaurant Awards, Brighton has now gone on to dominate the Observer Food Monthly awards, with the most nominations of any city outside of the capital.

Brighton & Hove offers a great range of over 400 restaurants, pubs and bars to choose from, including beachfront brasseries, exquisite seafood restaurants, chic cafés and bars and modern international menus at stylish, funky venues.
