Shah
Athar from Café Rasoi, Heathfield had a successful
evening at the inaugural Sussex Express Business Awards held on
Friday 20th February 2009 taking home a hat trick of awards.
Shah won the highly prestigious
Business Person of the year trophy and was also Highly Commended in
the Community Award, as well as Best Where to Eat. The awards were a
glittering celebration of local firms' achievements.
Café Rasoi undertakes
cooking demonstrations in primary schools aswell as for adults,
supports fundraising events and helps school sports teams.
Mr Athar said, "I am just
over the moon - really it was totally unexpected. With all the media
focusing on the doom and gloom, it's nice that the Sussex Express are
highlighting the excellence of businesses across Sussex". |
