The True Taste Of India At
The Curry Lounge

Combining traditional Indian and Punjabi dishes with outstanding service and value, the Curry Lounge has fast become one of the hottest places to eat-out in the Midlands.

Shortly after opening in Nottingham in 2007, the restaurant gained national media attention by appearing on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares series. With Gordon's help, the business has gone from strength-to-strength, winning acclaim from the critics and the regions curry-aficionados.

Diners are greeted by what can only be described as a stunningly unique interior, with a waterfall, opulent private booths and mood-enhancing, fibre-optic chandelier adding to the upmarket and glamorous feel.

Serving dishes such as Achari Lamb, Murgh Saagwala and Dal Makhni, made to traditional Indian recipes, the Curry Lounge is often praised for its authenticity, so-much-so that it was voted Best Indian Restaurant East Midlands 2008 by the Customer Excellence Awards.

The menu moves away from the more Western-influenced Indian dishes, and instead focuses mainly on regional cuisine from India, Pakistan and Kashmir, using traditional herbs and spices, free-range Halal meat, allergy-friendly ingredients and lighter cooking oils, to create a healthy, yet truly home-cooked taste.

The quality of the ingredients certainly doesn't mean that you can expect a lengthy bill at the end of the evening - in fact the Curry Lounge has recently been praised by the toptable Top 100 Dining Awards 2009 as one of the top 10 restaurants that offers the best value meals when dining out in the UK.

With a fresh new menu for this year, promising an exciting mix of dishes, the Curry Lounge continues to go above-and-beyond diner's expectations of Indian food. And with a successful franchise venture already in full-swing, people across the globe will soon be able to sample what the restaurant has to offer.

The Curry Lounge is about to be launched in London, securing a prime location to the North of the capital. The opening is set to be the first of many, as calls from restaurateurs continue to come in from as far as North America and the Middle East, demonstrating the strength of the Curry Lounge's reputation on a world-wide scale.
