According
to local paper Horsforth Today, the highly acclaimed Aagrah Group is
on the move again.
The
company, founded in Shipley in 1977, is opening a state of the art
£4m conference and banqueting centre on the border of Pudsey and
Bradford, creating 50 jobs.
The
company says business is booming - despite it not having opened yet
- with bookings having being made months ahead of its official
opening. The Aagrah Midpoint development, off Dick Lane, is being
marketed at corporate and social events from across the UK. It is due
to open on April 2.
Aagrah
group's managing director, Mohammed Aslam, said he was delighted by
the progress of the work, and the level of interest being show in the venue.
"I
was attracted to the idea of building a top-class conference and
banqueting destination which offered flexible and affordable packages,"
he explained. The Midpoint Suite building, set in 1.6 acres of
landscaped grounds, takes up 20,000 sq ft in total and its ground
floor will house a 300-seat restaurant, relocating the Aagrah from
nearby Pudsey.
The
building, now in its second and final phase of construction, will
also offer a year-round conference venue catering for up to 700
people, theatre-style, and 450 seated for dining.
The
50 jobs being created will add to the firm's 300-strong workforce
already employed across its 12 Yorkshire restaurants.
Mr
Aslam has promised "stage shows and other glittering
occasions" at the venue, adding that a comprehensive event
management service would be offered for all events.
During
the summer outside dining will be offered in an outside grill
cooking area beside a specially created Mughal garden.
