Top chefs bringing Wagamama experience home for iphone users

The sound of sizzling yaki soba and the sumptuous smell of spicy ramen will be permeating the kitchens of iphone owners this spring, with users of Wagamama's hugely successful new iphone app being given the chance to have the chain's top chefs cooking up a complimentary feast for them in comfort of their own home

The money-can't-buy experience will see Wagamama's executive chefs Ron Lento and Steve Mangleshot stepping out of the chain's kitchens and into homes across the uk to prepare a three-course meal for each of the lucky food fans and a group of up to six of their friends. They will be able to select dishes from Wagamama's tempting menu of pan-asian cuisine, which ranges from hearty bowls of ramen to fiery chilli men noodles and the ever-popular chicken katsu curry

The dinners are being hosted to mark the launch of Wagamama's new iphone application, a first for a uk restaurant chain, which allows fans of delicious pan-asian cuisine to place a direct-to-kitchen takeout order from their nearest branch of Wagamama

To be in with a chance of experiencing this dinner party with a difference, users will need to place a Wagamama order via the Wagamama iphone app before 31 march 2010, and use their order confirmation email as a ticket to enter "cooking up a storm" by forwarding it to enter@wagamama.com

Wagamama's executive chef Ron Lento commented "this will be the first time we have cooked Wagamama dishes for people at home and we're really looking forward to bringing the Wagamama menu into a totally new setting - it's definitely going to be an experience to remember!"

Those not fortunate enough to enjoy the executive chef experience can still savour the mouth-watering Wagamama menu at home by downloading the iphone app for free to order their takeout. users can visit the itunes app store and search for 'wagamama' to download the app. orders can also be placed online via Wagamama's new and improved take-out site wagamamatakeout.com

* ten customers will be picked at random from all the emails received. non-iphone users can also be in with a chance of winning by placing an order via wagamamatakeout.com and forwarding their confirmation email with their name, address and phone number to enter@wagamama.com
