Spring has
sprung and the warmer climate brings with it the opportunity for
restaurant customers to dine al-fresco.
At the Upper
Street, Islington branch of Masala Zone (80 Upper Street, Islington,
London, N1 0NU Tel: 020 7359 3399) up to 40 people can relax and
enjoy the authentic Indian cuisine served on an outside terrace.
Over-looking Islington Green, the terrace offers wooden bench
seating, large canopies, leafy trees and outdoor heaters for those
chillier evenings.
Just a short
stroll from Angel tube station, Masala Zone also boasts a street
stall serving tasty Indian street food. On the terrace, this gives
customers a real treat for the senses as they enjoy the summer
weather whilst eating tantalising food that has been perfectly
prepared in front of their eyes. The aroma of the dishes also often
entices passers by to come and try the food on offer.
Masala Zone
has built a reputation for serving excellent Indian food at great
prices and still has an average price of £13 per person. This
summer, Islington branch will look forward to welcoming guests, new
and old to enjoy the warm weather while eating their choice of
thalis, noodles, street food, burgers and curry & rice plates.
The Veg Cool
small plates of street food are always popular during the summer
months and this year there is the new Gol Guppa (lentil and tamarind
stuffed whole wheat biscuits - customers fill them with the spicy
dressing and pop them in their mouths) alongside favourites Bhel
(crunchy salad with chutneys and peanuts) and Dahi Puri (puffed
hollow biscuits filled with chickpeas, mash and splashed with yoghurt
and chutneys) all prices £3.50.
