Guess Who Came To Dinner?

Have you been to a restaurant and thought you recognized a famous face? That is what happened to diners at the newly opened India Quay restaurant situated on the foreshore of Glasgow.

Unbeknown to proprietor Pardeep Sanghera, seven of the Scottish Michelin star chefs met for a relaxing evening, organised by Braehead Foods the night before the Scottish Food Scholarship Final, to sample India Quay's top quality northern Indian food.

"The evening was a great success" said Sanghera "and I was delighted that my head chef Kashmir was given the opportunity of presenting his culinary talents to a group with such distinguished palates".

Michelin star chef Tony Borthwick of the Plumed Horse commented: " It must be a pretty daunting task cooking for a table of Michelin star chefs but I have to say I was really impressed. The restaurant's interior is really cutting edge while the location of the restaurant is on one of Glasgow's new trendy waterfronts. They brought us a selection of dishes and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the evening."
