Perfectly
timed for the summer, Mo Tearoom is offering a newly expanded and
well-priced menu, allowing customers to enjoy the true flavours of
North Africa in a relaxed and informal setting. Head Chef, Mohamed
Ourad has put together a high quality menu that offers a substantial
variety of hot and cold mezze, additionally you can enjoy a full meal
with main courses including pastilla and mini tagines. This adapted
new menu will be ideal for customers who want a quick, yet high
quality meal during or after working hours.
Dishes include
authentic North African Hot and Cold Mezze, such as spicy tuna coated
with crushed peppers, zaalouck - a Morrocan caviar of aubergine with
cumin, coriander and olive oil and others such as couscous salad
priced from £4.00. Hot mezze are also available, including
chicken brochettes - spicy and tender chicken skewers and King Prawn
K'Taiffe - fried crispy King Prawns with avocado hummus, priced from
£4.80. Mo Tearoom dessert menu now lists a variety of carefully
crafted cakes and exquisite pastries such as almond pistachio
moelleux and hazelnut pecan cake with fromage frais, all from
£4.00.
This new menu
at Mo Tearoom offers the perfect refreshment for shoppers and local
workers in search of an unusual light lunch. On sunny days guests may
dine on the terrace and enjoy fruit flavoured shisha and classic Mo
mint teas. Mo Tearoom is part of Momo restaurant, the iconic North
African venue, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in May.
