Wagamama Welcomes Lisa Johnson As Marketing Manager

 

Wagamama, the world's leading noodle restaurant, have recently recruited Lisa Johnson as their marketing manager. Lisa will develop the marketing strategy that will continue to drive the Wagamama global brand forward. The 74 strong restaurant chain continues to expand - their last UK opening was in Cambridge on 27 April, to be followed by the 50th UK restaurant in Oxford, this summer

Lisa brings with her a wealth of marketing experience from Hilton hotels, National Rail, amazon.co.uk and more recently 5 years at Yell group working across the communications and product groups.

The group are also launching into the USA, with the first Wagamama opening in Faneuil Hall, Boston on 23 April 07. Boston was selected for the first restaurant in the USA as the demographics of the city suit Wagamama . In addition, thousands of American visitors to the UK have confirmed Boston as ideal for the initial launch. Unlike all other non UK Wagamama restaurants which operate under a franchise agreement, the restaurants in the USA will remain wholly owned from the UK
