Improved Controlled Thaw Cabinet from Foster

Market leading commercial refrigeration manufacturer Foster Refrigerator has launched a new, improved Controlled Thaw Cabinet. The new CT70 model now includes Foster's Surf Navigation control panel making it easier to use but still at the same price as the original model.

With a simple 'press and start' operation, the new CT70 Controlled Thaw Cabinet is easy to use, even for first time operators. The Foster Surf Navigation System allows caterers to simply turn the dial to select the programme they require and press to start. There is even a simple to use programme designed to thaw quantities and weights of food dependent on the user's requirements.

Thawing in ambient temperatures puts your customers and your business at risk and does not meet HACCP recommendations on safe food handling. The CT70 thaws food safely from -18 / -21C to +1/ +4C within a safe time span, minimising bacterial growth. The new model alternates between circulating gentle heat and refrigeration via special air ducting and fans, ensuring an even, speedy and safe thaw that meets the latest food safety legislation and HACCP requirements.

Presented in a modern, sleek, stainless steel finish, the CT70 has a massive 70kg thawing capacity and an overnight storage hold facility meaning thawed food is ready for use when you are.

John Savage, Foster's Foodservice Director says: "As with all Foster Refrigerator's products, the CT70 has been designed with the quality, reliability and affordability that everyone expects from Foster. It really is an impressive piece of equipment."
