Restaurant
Boss In Capital Expansion
The
Scotsman reports that one of Edinburgh's best-known Italian
restaurant groups has revealed a multi-million expansion plan as it
looks to open a third site in the city centre.
Vittorias,
which has been a huge hit at its Leith location for nearly four
decades, will open a new sister restaurant, Vittoria, at the former
Bauermeister Books site on George IV Bridge later this month.
The new
venture is the second major restaurant that owner Tony Crolla has
opened - after the launch of La Favorita in Leith Walk - since he
took over Vittorias from his parents - who opened Vittorias on Leith
Walk in 1970 - in 1993.
