It doesn't take much sun to tempt British customers outside to eat and drink and be merry. Plus the smoking ban means some customers never really come inside whatever the weather. But all too often those outside customers are enjoying the atmosphere and ambience at the host's expense without really ordering very much.

Call System's Technology's EasyCall system has been developed especially to make ordering easy for the customer and profitable for the establishment. EasyCall is a wireless ordering system that transmits signals from a button on the customer's table to a central display panel at the bar or main reception area. Customers press the EasyCall button when they want to order and once alerted waiting staff can respond and process the customers' orders quickly and efficiently.

The EasyCall button is weatherproof and available as a free-standing unit or a micro-transmitter that can be countersunk into the tables. The micro buttons are only about the size of a £2 coin. Both button types are self-contained, battery operated and maintenance free, lasting for about 100,000 presses.

Being wireless the system is unobtrusive and simple to install. It's just a question of placing the buttons on the tables, choosing where to mount the central display panel and telling the staff how it works. That's really all there is to it. Running costs are minimal - it couldn't be easier.

For the customers they can sit back and enjoy the weather and service without having to move from their seats while the staff know exactly which tables need attention and when. EasyCall actually increases spend because customers don't have to wait for service and it makes managing front of house much easier. It can even save on staff costs because when staff are being employed efficiently, fewer are needed.
