Double Gold For
Kingfisher Lager At
Monde Selection 2009

Kingfisher, the World's No.1-selling Premium Indian Lager brand, added to its collection of international awards with two Gold Medals at this year's Monde Selection 2009 held in Brussels.

Brian Dozey, Marketing Director of Kingfisher UK Distributors, UBSN Ltd, said, "Winning a further award for the second year in a row for our bottled product was a great tribute to the consistency of quality, but I was particularly pleased that Kingfisher Draught also won a Gold Medal as it is the No. 1-selling draught lager in Indian restaurants in the UK."

Kingfisher Lager is brewed under licence in the UK by Shepherd Neame in Faversham, Kent, and is sold in more than 95 per cent of the UK's 9,000+ licensed Indian restaurants, and is available in 330ml and 660ml bottles, as well as on draught. A 4.8 per cent ABV premium lager, Kingfisher Lager is brewed from the finest quality malted barley and hops. Connoisseurs of fine beer will recognise the clarity of taste and strength of 'character' for which Kingfisher has won international awards.
