Pure Spain, the family owned website-based Spanish food and
lifestyle company, has relocated to offices at 37 Great Cranford
Street, Poundbury, Dorchester.
Pure Spain was established in 2005 and grew out of the desire to see
the products that are taken for granted in Spain become available to
everyone in the UK.
Most products are sourced from small, independent producers where
time has been taken to form personal relationships. This means Pure
Spain can ensure that all its' products are of the highest quality
and where possible, carry the prestigious 'Denominacion de Origen'
(D.O) marque. This is extremely important to the company and if it
means driving down endless dusty tracks to find exactly the right
product, then that is what they do!
"We have some great products that are unavailable elsewhere in
the UK. For example, the Olive Jam is totally unique to us.
This is a sweet jam that is made simply from Manzanilla olives, sugar
and orange juice. It is delicious with cheese, or simply spread on
toast for a great start to the day," comments Pure Spain
partner, Patrick Stacey.
"Our olive oil comes from the one of the world's only female
olive oil sommeliers, who is based in the hills above Murcia, while
our sweet 'turrones' (a type of nougat) come from a small family
company based in Jijona, in the province of Alicante."
"We are planning to run some Open Days later this summer to give
people the chance to come and enjoy all our products. Details of

As well as wide range of food and drink products, Pure Spain has a
selected range of Spanish cookware from traditional paella pans,
ideal for use at this time of year indoors or out, and earthenware
dishes that are designed for use as 'oven to tableware'.
Add to this a wide selection of traditional perfumery products
including colognes, soaps and moisturisers and it is true to say that
the exciting tastes and smells of Spain have arrived in Dorchester!
