Herby Pork Burgers

Ingredients:

450g/1lb

lean minced British pork

1

onion, finely chopped

50g/2oz

hazelnuts, finely chopped

50g/2oz

fresh wholemeal breadcrumbs

15ml/1 tbsp

seasme seeds

5ml/1 tsp

dried thyme

15ml/1 tbsp

fresh parsley, chopped

to taste

salt & Freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Put all the ingredients together in a large bowl and mix well.

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into burgers.

Cook, either under a pre-heated grill or on a barbecue, for about 5-7 minutes each side until cooked through.

Serving suggestion: Serve with salad & wholemeal pitta bread
