Now under
new management, Locale re-launched under new branding on the 15th
November. The new owners have retained the existing experienced
Italian chefs and will continue to offer great Italian food. However
the new team will improve on an already very popular restaurant using
their years of experience within the trade.
The grand
wooden staircase leads to a huge dining room with its high ceilings
and makes for a dramatic first impression. The deep red walls and
dark wood, lit by huge candelabras and candles successfully create
intimacy, ideal for romantic couples and family groups alike.
Large
black and white Italian pictures adorn the walls, alongside gilt
framed mirror and drinks cabinet. The new, extended bar area offers a
relaxed drinking experience. With large rustic wooden tables for
larger parties and leather sofas and armchairs, it is perfect for pre
or post dinner drinks.
The open
bustling kitchen at Locale gives an insight into the care and
attention paid to each dish by the Italian chefs, who buy all of the
fresh ingredients from London markets to ensure the best quality and
flavours. Italian ingredients are used whenever possible, including
flour, eggs and olive oil and all the dishes are made to authentic
Italian recipes to ensure guests get a true taste of Italy.
