Herbs Add Flavour To MRC Relaunch

Manchester Rusk Company is relaunching two of its popular food products with eye-catching new packaging.

The company which is a leading manufacturer of glazes, marinades, coatings and seasonings to the food industry has designed new labels for its delicious range of Garden Herb Glazes. The new packaging shows mouthwatering product shots and gives clear instructions on how the glazes can be used. It also gives essential allergy advice and includes serving suggestions on the 2.5kg red tubs.

The Garden Herb Glazes range consists of three delicious variants - Orange & Basil, Rosemary & Garlic and Garden Mint - developed to meet the increasing demand from butchers, meat processors, caterers and the food service sector for fresh tasting flavoursome recipes.

Also being given the makeover treatment is the company's Steakado range of coaters. The two varieties of this product - Peppersteak and Mustard - have also been a hit with customers. Peppersteak is a blend of ingredients which adds a distinctive peppery flavour to meat, particularly steak and pork, while mustard adds a tasty tangy flavour.

MRC marketing manager Julie Nyunt said: "We wanted to update the presentation of these products which have proved very popular. Herbs have been used in cooking for thousands of years and these products add a very distinct taste to a number of meat products. We will continue to work on our recipe development and product presentation to meet the demands of our customers."
