beliefs do not allow him to consume alcohol. Consequently, he felt it
was crucial to involve his customers in the decision making process
to ensure the restaurant's wine menu was of the highest standard.

end the evening.

summer 2005 the restaurant felt it was time to update its existing
wine menu to appeal to its wide customer base.
Customers,
Gary and Jane Cornforth said: We've had a great evening and have
learnt so much about different types of wines. We come here regularly
with our four daughters and it's nice to know the restaurant is
interested in what its customers think about the different types of
wines and what they should stock".
Restaurant
owner, Naheem Akhtar said: "It's important we involve our
customers as much as we can. I don't drink alcohol myself so my
knowledge of fine wines is slightly limited. I decided to involve
some of my most loyal customers, because after all there opinions
matters most. Holding a wine tasting evening is a great way to find
out first hand what my customers like to drink and why, we'll
definitely be doing this again".
