Bistro & International Tapas Bar are celebrating their global
theme over the festive season by giving diners complementary
traditional Christmas canapés from each continent during the
12 days of Christmas, excluding Christmas Day. Locals and tourists
alike will receive edible gifts from the Middle East, the Americas,
Australasia, Asia and Europe from Boxing Day until the 5th of
January, including Hogmanay. As so many individuals travel over the
Christmas period this international celebration will act to unify
diners at the restaurant and for many give them a taste of home.
Tucked away
off the Royal Mile, this fresh faced outpost of contemporary dining
has something to offer everyone this Christmas and Hogmanay. Set over
two floors you may relax and indulge in a cocktail in the
contemporary bar upstairs before or after your meal. The restaurant
has just launched NEW set menus for Christmas and Hogmanay, which
include a mix of classic festive dishes such as Scottish smoked
salmon, capers, crème fraiche and caviar; traditional roast
turkey with all the trimmings and pork, apple and sage stuffing and
Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. For something different, Shaws
also offers their renowned international Tapas menu which
incorporates food from around the world.
Situated in
the heart of the Capital and easily accessible from all parts of town
Shaws is the perfect meeting place for Christmas celebrations, and
just a stone's throw away from the castle, it offers easy access to
the spectacular Hogmanay fireworks. The restaurant caters for large
groups or small intimate parties, or for that special Christmas
celebration you can hire the entire bar and restaurant which caters
for up to 100 guests. Award-winning performer, Lee J Harris will be
providing evening entertainment throughout December with a repertoire
to include smooth soul, Motown and R N B classics.
