"How
significant that exactly 25 years on from our first gold medal win
for a Chardonnay - at the same show - that put both the Oatley's and
Australian wine on the international map; we're rewarded with gold again,"
Chris Hancock said.
"We're
thrilled Wild Oats Shiraz Viognier has won this medal in our first
year as a new wine company. The family have invested so much into
Wild Oats, the winemaking facilities, the vineyards and the young
Australian winemakers who provide that special X factor that makes
Wild Oats the fun and exciting range we all wanted it to be,"
he said.
"Now
with our new bottling line soon to be complete, we'll have built
total quality control into the whole process. This latest investment
will ensure Wild Oats continues to over deliver with excellent
drinkability and superior quality from vine to vessel," he
said.
Just
like Wild Oats, the yacht; the wines are the Oatley family's
interpretation of innovation, outstanding performance and success.
Sourced from the family's own Mudgee vineyards and other premium
sites across Australia, Wild Oats wines are approachable - modern
classics - crafted for immediate enjoyment and drinking.
