Sizzle Spanish-style at La Tasca
with the new Winter menu

La Tasca, the Spanish restaurant and bar group, is launching its new winter menu and plans to spice up your taste buds with a selection of price-busting Spanish delicacies.

La Tasca has transformed its starter, breads and olives menu with no fewer than seven new dishes to get you in the Spanish mood. Traditional dishes such as 'Montado de Tomate y Cebolla' (cherry tomato and onion, drizzled with olive oil, on toasted bread) join newly created Spanish inspired dishes 'Montado de Gambas y Jamón Serrano' (sautéed prawns and Serrano ham, in a creamy white wine sauce, on toasted bread) and 'Queso Manchego Frito' (deep-fried Manchego cheese in breadcrumbs, served with an orange & cranberry sauce - for dipping). Dishes which start at just £2.25 range to £4.75 for a selection of cured Spanish meats.

La Tasca's famous sharing paellas 'Paella Valenciana', (a Valencian-style paella, with chicken and mixed seafood), 'Paella de Carne' (a meat paella, with chicken and spicy Spanish sausage) and 'Paella de Verduras' (vegetarian paella, with a selection of seasonal vegetables) have proven so popular they have been added to the menu as smaller tapas versions. At approximately £4.00 a dish, tapas dining is not just sociable, its affordable too.

Joining the tapas menu for the first time are 'Espinacas a la Catalana' (sautéed spinach, with pine nuts, raisins and apple) and 'Verduras al Ajillo' (green beans and broad beans, lightly sautéed in garlic and olive oil).

For those with a sweet tooth the latest dessert to join the La Tasca menu is the perfect choice. 'Churros con Fruta y Salsa de Chocolate' - crisp doughnut twists, served with strawberries, apple chunks and a warm chocolate sauce, for dipping. Simply divine!

There are over 20 different gluten free dishes on the menu as well as a further 16 guaranteed garlic-free dishes perfect for those customers worried they may ruin a romantic night out with notoriously garlic-loaded Spanish food!

Spanish culture celebrates family dining and at La Tasca the children's menu is as important as the main menu. There is a choice of nine tasty tapas dishes from Spanish style cheese on toast to meatballs and Spanish omelette. And for just £3.95 for two tapas dishes, a dessert and a drink its unbelievable value too.
