Experience The Taste Of India With New Sauce Recipes From Uncle Ben's®

Indian food is one of the most popular cuisines around the world and with Chicken Tikka Masala often hailed as the UK's favourite dish, it's no wonder we can't get enough spice in our lives. But having the time to re-create a curry which each member of the family will enjoy in your own kitchen is not always feasible. Thankfully Uncle Ben's® is introducing new Indian cooking sauce recipes available from this Autumn which taste fantastic (as if freshly prepared), the whole family will enjoy and won't be a challenge to make at home. Paired with Uncle Ben's® rice, which gives perfect results every time, now there's no excuse not to make curry in a hurry.

Containing wholesome ingredients (including fragrant and aromatic spices), to deliver an Indian taste experience that you would expect from freshly made Indian sauces, the new recipes from Uncle Ben's®, available in supermarkets from October, are the tastiest yet. Whether you want to drive them crazy for Jalfrezi or treat them to Tikka Masala, there is something to suit all tastes for all families. Fans of Uncle Ben's® will recognise its well loved Korma, Medium Curry and Tikka Masala sauces which have been re-created from scratch to taste even better than ever, while brand new Jalfrezi and Balti varieties have been added to the range to give your dinner plate even more choice and flavour. What's more, all these sauces contain absolutely no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives - just the ingredients you would expect to find in a real home-made Indian curry.

Allowing you to be in control and re-create Indian dishes at home with ease, simply add your own ingredients to the new Uncle Ben's® Indian sauce recipes, like diced chicken or extra vegetables, and serve with Uncle Ben's® Express rice. If you're not sure which sauce would curry most favour with your family, follow the taste and spice guide below:

Uncle Ben's® Korma is a mildly spiced sauce with a rich blend of coconut and fresh cream. Perfectly paired with Uncle Ben's® Express Garlic and Coriander Rice, ready in just two minutes, and a glass of passion fruit juice with lime and soda on the side.

Uncle Ben's® Tikka Masala is a delicately spiced sauce with a blend of tomatoes, yoghurt and fresh cream with a hint of coriander. Serve with Uncle Ben's® Boil in the Bag Basmati Rice, ready in ten minutes, enjoy with a lime juice with runny honey and ginger beer.

Uncle Ben's® Medium Curry is a lightly spiced sauce with a blend of coconut, red peppers and onions. Delicious with Uncle Ben's® Express Vegetable Pilau Rice, ready in two minutes, washed down with cloudy apple juice, mint leaves, lime juice and elderflower cordial.

Uncle Ben's® Balti is a medium spiced sauce with an aromatic, rich blend of tomatoes, roasted onions, and coriander. Best served with Uncle Ben's® Pilau rice, ready in ten minutes and to drink, try blending raspberries with coconut, cream and lychee juice.

Uncle Ben's® Jalfrezi is a hot and spicy blend of tomatoes, onions, peppers and chillies. Perfect combined with leftovers to minimise food wastage. Serve with Uncle Ben's® Express Basmati Rice, ready in ten minutes and a glass of guava juice, cranberry juice with fresh lime and ginger ale.

The chefs at Uncle Ben's® have worked hard to perfect the new sauce recipes. Former Executive Head Chef at leading Indian restaurant Café Lazeez, Avneet Bhutani, advised Uncle Ben's® to ensure they were spot on.

Avneet Bhutani says: "The new Uncle Ben's® Indian sauce recipes have been developed with great care and attention to flavour and ingredients. Paired with Uncle Ben's® Pilau Rice, it is the perfect home-cooked solution if you fancy a night in with a curry."

Ideal for a mid-week family meal when you want to produce something with a great tasting flavour, the new Uncle Ben's® Indian sauce recipes paired with Uncle Ben's rice can take as little as ten minutes to prepare and produce fool-proof results
