Londoner
Priya Lakhani gave up her job as a high flying media lawyer in July
this year (sacrificing the security of a full time job and good
salary) to follow her dream to be an entrepreneur, and launch the her
new company Masala Masala .
The company, which will launch at
BBC Good Food Show London (14-16 Nov) and BBC Good Food Show
Birmingham (26-30 Nov), introduces to the market a truly authentic
Indian stir-in curry sauce, and for every pot of Masala Masala sold
here in the UK Priya has promised to serve a homeless person in India
a meal through an initiative she's founded called The Masala Masala
Project. Priya only arrived back from India late last week where she
was meeting NGO's in order to set up the project.
Her efforts - even before
the product launches have seen her recognised by the national Girls!
Make Your Mark entrepreneurship campaign for which she was
short-listed for The Pioneer Award for her work as founder of Masala
Masala Limited and The Masala Masala Project.
