Several Asian
restaurants have contacted us concerning the approach of The Consumer
Excellence Awards being offered to them asking whether Menu Magazine
was aware of them. The awards seem to be aimed at the Asian
restaurant sector plus hairdressers and involves a payment for
nomination and a similar payment once documentation is completed.
It may well be
that the services offered by this new scheme are worthwhile and to be
recommended but when we approached them for information none was
forthcoming and we were told we would have to wait until November for
press information. All we can do, therefore, is to give details of
their website (clcik below) and allow restaurateurs to make up their
own minds.
