(26 November - 3 December 2007) and get your fix of the small, but
extremely fiery, South African birds eye chilli, an essential
ingredient in Nando's Peri-Peri Sauces.
It seems we
Brits are challenging our taste buds like never before. In a recent
study by Nando's nearly a third (30 per cent) of users claimed to
spice up their meals with a dash of Peri-Peri Sauce on a daily basis!
Top of the list for the chilli treatment were chips, stir-frys, and
spag bol.
Whilst 28 per
cent of Nando's fans claim to drink a shot of Peri-Peri every
morning, others are using it as an essential ingredient to add a
spicy kick to anything from casserole to chocolate cake.
So what better
excuse to start spicing up your food this National Chilli Week? A
dose of Nando's Peri-Peri Sauce will be enough to keep the chilly
November nights at bay by keeping you warm on the inside. Available
in medium heath level for novices and extra hot for the daring or
plain mad!
