Tarrant Spoons The Night Away

The man who brought about a visit from the Police Armed Response Unit in Nottingham with a little light-hearted spoon throwing, linked the recent British Curry Awards with professional ease.

The 3rd such event saw more guests dining the night away than ever, suggesting next year it might have to be Wembley. Founder Enam Ali once again introduced the event and highlighted the continuing restaurant staffing problem and his lovely daughter charmed guests with her appeal on behalf of the Bangladesh Flood Victims.

Restaurateurs from all over the country were present plus even a lively group from Big Brother including Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan who was very surprised to be called upon to present one of the awards.

Top award for the night for Services to the Industry went to Cyrus Todiwala of Café Spice Namaste who said it was probably the greatest accolade he had ever received.
