The 4th
British Curry Awards organised by well-known restaurateur Enam Ali
was held on Sunday 19 October in front of 1100 assembled celebrities,
restaurateurs and guests.
The evening was put together for
the first time by Enam's 17 year old daughter Justine who was warmly
applauded by those present. The evening was hosted by Dead Ringers
star Jon Culshaw and the appointed charity for 2008 was James Whales
Fund for Kidney Cancer who joined with Christopher Biggins to auction
a huge painting by top Bangladeshi artist Andaleeb Preema.
