Giraffe
restaurant group opened their 22nd restaurant in Bristol's new Cabot
Circus development on Thursday 25 September.
The opening of the £500
million Cabot Circus scheme marks the completion of an eight year
programme to deliver one of the largest retail-led city-centre urban
regeneration projects in the UK, and is expected to propel Bristol
into the UK's rankings of top ten retail destinations.
By Sunday 28th evening, over
2,500 customers had visited giraffe for a meal and even into the
first midweek it shows no signs of slowing down!
The restaurant has had to
immediately employ additional staff members to keep up with the
demand as locals go crazy for the freshly cooked, globally influenced
food and world music served by the legendary friendly giraffe staff
The restaurant, designed by Wells
Mackereth has 90 seats inside and 32 outside, overlooking the
stunning shopping centre which has a rounded glass roof structured so
natural light and air are used throughout the shopping centre |
