Good Food Guide 2008

The 56th edition of the Which Good Food Guide edited by Elizabeth Carter will be published on 18 September. Covering over 1500 establishments in 600 pages including 32 maps, the Guide will be worth every penny of its cover price of £16.99.

The Good Food Guide was first published by Raymond Postgate in 1951 and to this day every entry is based on a completely impartial assessment. Inspections are anonymous and restaurants do not pay for inclusion. The Guide claims to be the only truly independent restaurant guide available (their words not ours) and for 2008 there is full colour throughout.

Also for the first time the 2008 edition will include awards nominated by the general public.
