A
restaurant in Westhoughton has been served with a top award according
to local press.
Nawab, in
Market Street, has been awarded the title Restaurant of the Year by
the British Bangladesh Business Link.
Owner Mohammed
Ullah received the accolade at a national ceremony held at Manchester
United Football Club's ground recently.
He said: "Restaurants
across the country were competing for the award, so it is a huge
success for us.
"The
award means so much more because it was the comments of our customers
which were taken into consideration by the judges."
The restaurant
has been in Westhoughton for 19 years, and Mr Ullah, aged 44, has
been involved with the restaurant for most of that time, buying it
three years ago.
