Following
its successful launch in January, Wine+ is gearing up for a second
year with new exhibitors and a programme of events that reinforces
its importance as the only dedicated on-trade event in the UK. Wine
buyers for restaurants, hotels, pubs/bars and catering outfits will
all benefit from visiting whether they are in need of expert advice,
networking opportunities or new ideas.
New for 2008
will be the inclusion of selected spirits and water brands. Visitor
research at the inaugural Wine+ clearly demonstrated that visitors
wanted to see premium spirits and other relevant brands. San
Pellegrino (Nestle Waters), Fiji Water, Eaux de Vie and J Wray &
Nephew will be among the first to show their products alongside wines.
Wine+ 2008
will be considerably larger incorporating two central Taste Zones,
the popular Live Theatre and Business Clinic in addition to more
stands. The French Wines Discovery Lounge at Wine+ will enable
visitors to do business in an informal area, taste French wines at
the wine bar or relax and plan their day.
New exhibitors
for 2008 include Pol Roger, Laurent Perrier UK, Cordorniu, Las
Bodegas, Lea & Sandeman, New Zealand Winegrowers, Thresher Group,
Viniportugal, Wines of Australia and the Wine Institute of California.
Returning exhibitors include Louis Latour, armit, FGL Wine Estates,
Nyetimber, Novum Wines and Wine Treasury.
