"Tommy Miah International Festival 2008" in November

 

 

Chef and British-Bangladeshi citizen Tommy Miah has created Asia's largest festival "Tommy Miah International Festival 2008" in Dhaka.

CODE 100 and Tommy Miah Group are jointly organizing the festival, which is to be held from 20-24, November, 2008 at "Grand City Hall" the capital's Bashundhara city. The following business sectors and products will participate in the festival : Food products including Baby Food, Catering, Spices, Crockery, Kitchen Equipments, Frozen foods, Food packaging company, Cold storages, Other food preserving company, Tourism and Hotel Management course provide Educational Institutions, Tourism and Tours provider companies, Hotel, Motels & Resorts, IT, Health care products & services, Airlines and Aviations Companies, Telecom Companies, Banks, Interior Design, Office Equipments, Fashion & Design.

This festival is not only the first ever in Bangladesh but also it claims to be the largest in Asia. The announcement of the festival was held in Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center on 21 August at "Tommy Miah Corporate Night". Tommy Miah cooked and served 8 popular delicious dishes to the invitees. He said that his heart fills with joy if he can do any thing for the country and " I feel happy to do this".

Mr. Abid A Azad, CEO, CODE 100 gave the welcome speech at "Tommy Miah's Corporate Night". Mr. Saiful Imam Deepu, COO, and Mahbub-Ul Alam Shuvoraj, Manager (Event & Marketing) were presented at that time. Folk singer Habib and famous playback singer Fahmida Nabi were present with their famous .
