A
Seaford curry house invited key figures to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
The Moon of
India, in Sutton Park Road, first opened its doors in 1978 and during
the special anniversary regular customers who have been visiting the
restaurant since it started were invited to join in the fun.
Seaford MP
Norman Baker, Seaford Mayor Councillor Carolyn Lambert and
Eastbourne's Deputy Mayor Councillor Harun Miah were also at the event.
During the
day guests enjoyed food, wine and a display of Indian dancing by
Nafessa Ahmed, with some of the guests even joining in with her.
The
restaurant is owned by Ali Hayder and his brother Murshed Ali has
been the head chef there for 15 years.
