Christie + Co Instructed To Find Sites
For New Takeaway Pasta Concept

Christie + Co has been exclusively instructed to find sites for the launch and rollout of Pastina, a new unique takeaway pasta concept.

The brainchild of Liz Kenny, ex-Operations Manager at Compass, Pastina will offer portions of freshly cooked IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) pasta made from natural ingredients, served with a choice of eight different sauces.

Cooked to order in less than a minute, the pasta will be served in branded, convenient-to-carry containers, which keep the food hot and in excellent condition for up to 20 minutes. Cold pasta salads will also be on offer.

Prices for a hot pasta dish will range from £3.20 for a small portion and £4.50 for a large.

Pastina will also produce a breakfast offering consisting of porridge, warm Pannetone buns served with a selection of jams, fresh fruits, and a selection of hot and cold drinks.

The company is seeking 300sq to 500sq ft units based in city centre, high footfall locations. It hopes to open its first site in Central London before the end of the year.

Andrew Moore, Director at Christie + Co, said: "Pastina will be a healthy alternative to other fast food options and should prove extremely popular for those consumers looking for great tasting, fresh and natural meals on the go."
