The team from Chelsea's award
winning restaurant The Painted Heron (thepaintedheron.com)
are launching a wonderful, accessible Indian restaurant in the heart
of the City called Bangalore Express. Situated in Corbet Court, just
off Gracechurch St, the restaurant will boast a lively bar with an
Indian tapas menu. Downstairs will be an equally funky restaurant
where larger dishes will be served.
The interior is a geometric
fusion of red and grey. Clusters of lights hang from the ceilings and
there is a mixture of booths and freestanding tables to suit friends,
couples and business groups alike. Whilst the menu is flexible, the
food is freshly prepared, clean tasting, fragrant and wholesome. A

This will be Bangalore Express's
second restaurant. The first is in Waterloo, SE1.
