Prevent 'Bag-Burn' With Revolutionary, New Hands-Free Shopping Device

British Entrepreneur invents Yoke Shopper to prevent the common symptom of 'bag-burn', which according to new research is prevalent across the UK

Britons across the UK are regular sufferers of 'bag-burn' with new research revealing 40% of people suffer from the symptom more than four times a month. Bag-Burn is the symptom of carrying too many heavy shopping bags, the handles having a cheese-wire-like effect of digging into your fingers, causing a painful burning sensation.

To combat this common complaint, British inventor, Matt Davies, has launched the revolutionary Yoke Shopper - a hands-free shopping device, which will rescue us from the shopping-bag-blues.

The survey, carried out by Redshift Research for Yoke Shopper, found that 'bag-burn' is particularly prevalent over the festive period, with 73% of respondents saying that their fingers have suffered over the Christmas shopping period as a result of having to carry too many heavy shopping bags. Add to that the cold wintry conditions and you have a recipe for pain!

The Yoke Shopper is set to relieve the 'Bag-Burn' this Christmas. Competitively priced at £9.99, it is small and compact enough to travel with you to the shops. Whether shopping on the high street or at the supermarket, the Yoke Shopper securely locks a number of plastic shopping bags or 'Bags for Life' together so your shopping stays put. The Yoke Shopper is ergonomically designed for comfort and as well as being 'hands-free' it;

* Prevents shopping bags from cutting into hands

* Carries several bags with ease using the fully adjustable extendable strap

* Carries heavy loads comfortably

* Distributes the weight across your body evenly

Over half (56%) of the respondents said that the thought of having to carry too many heavy shopping bags was likely to make them take the car to the shops rather than walk. The Yoke Shopper then is set to do its bit for both the environment and shopper's wallets as it helps cut down on unnecessary car journeys.

The Yoke Shopper is also a great time saver as 40% of the respondents said that the thought of heavy shopping bags encourages them to shop regularly to avoid having to carry a lot at one time.

Matt Davies, British entrepreneur and CEO of Yoke Shopper says, "The Yoke Shopper enables shoppers to carry their shopping on their shoulder or across their body to keep the use of their hands. This allows shoppers to keep their hands free to answer their mobile, pay for the bus and hold their child's hands."

"Carrying your shopping bags home can be real pain, bag handles cutting into your hands, heavy bags pulling on your arms and then the phone rings.... With the Yoke Shopper all these annoyances are taken away to provide a stress free shopping experience."

The Yoke Shopper is manufactured in the UK using recycled and recyclable materials, is available to buy at www.yokeshopper.com
